A Little Bit About Me
Greetings,
I am a psychotherapist, a Continuum Teacher, one of the founding members of the Continuum Teachers Association, mentor, somatic therapist, and group facilitator with 45 years of extensive studies in dance, psychology, somatic trainings, and exploratory consciousness. I taught dance and performed professionally for over 30 years. Currently I teach classes in Continuum, Fluid Strength, Gyrotonics® and Living Alignment/Embodied Centering. I am also in private practice, using the body and movement to facilitate the therapy process.
In-person and remote options
I work at my studio which is located in the woods on Turtle Pond in Chapel Hill, a few miles southwest of Carrboro. The location is bucolic and tranquil; you will only see water, the blue heron, and perhaps a few deer. It is a safe place to explore in the arms of Mother Nature.
I am growing and changing and want to facilitate positive movement in the lives of others. If you would like to join me in this humble powerful journey of meeting yourself more fully, I offer individual psychotherapy sessions, classes and workshops in Continuum, Fluid Strength, Somatic Restructuring, and A Moving Psychotherapy.
Please feel free to explore the website and get a better sense of the work that is being done at Evolving Therapies. Thank you.
My Studio is located in Chapel Hill, nuzzled in the woods facing a pond. Just 10 minutes from Carrboro. Can’t make it person? No worries – we’ve got you covered with online options.
